How To Style: Embellished Denims

Embellished jeans are a hot item right now, and the interpretations are vast: sequins, chains, crystals, patches and more. A great way to renew your old denim garment is to add some stones and decoration to give them a new life. It's a fun and original way to spice up your worn out jeans or whatever garment you feel is in need for a
renovation. Whether your jean preference is skinnies, flares, crops, or something else, we’re all united in our love of denim in all its forms. Our wardrobes would be in a sad state of affairs without a few trusty pairs — especially for days when we have

"nothing to wear." Here are seven different ways to style your embellished jeans.
1. Play with structural, clean shapes on top and go all-out with accessories.

2. For an androgynous look, pair with a simple t-shirt and boyfriend blazer. For a bit of fun and to keep it a little girly, add a pair of heels and colourful clutch.

3. Add drama to your next event with a floor-grazing maxi dress. Pair with eye-catching add-ons like a statement ring, chunky watch or edgy earrings.

4. Pair your denim shirt and pants with a solid for a more subtle look.

5. Stud your shirt collar, or embroidery your pant hems with a floral or aztec print to channel your inner flower child.

6. Layer your denim with a jacket, go for different shades of denim to keep the look modern. Add a hint of colour with a bright lip, and for interest, choose gold accents or zip details on your accessories.

7. Grab your pair of tight skinny jeans and something chic on top with your most treasured accessories, something fashion-forward and yet timeless.

Embellishments are seemingly more demure than loud prints, an up-close inspection of these pretty pairs can reveal details that are just as wow-worthy. The extra oomph provided by studs, stones, cutouts, or foil prints can make an entire outfit.
